House T-shirts!! or something to wear during events
loving the website sir- i reckon you should give the moeny to sport relief and we should all run a mile for it??????????????????????
I like the idea of a charity donation, though Ford have beaten us to the idea of running the sport relief mile! Any other fundraising ideas welcome! I don’t mind humiliating myself for charity…

Have a quick look at this…. could be an idea, and cheaper than polos and T’s.
Id prefer Polo shirts, but if you cant afford it , then i sopose wrist bands it is.
id rather have polo shirts. but if the budget doesnt cover it then its wristbands i suppose
Well, £140 will only buy a certain amount of t-shirts or polos of poor quality. What we could do is buy a load of sweatbands, which I can give you at NO COST to you and you keep them whenever you represent the house. Then next term, we can work out who wants polos and get really nice ones with those people who want them making a small donation (maybe a fiver) and the rest comes out of the budget? We do get another £100 in May, so could use that for polos and tees. What yuo reckon? If I get polos or tees, i could only get a certain amount and it would be difficult with sizes etc…
that sounds good, i suppose its worth the wait. id rather have better quality than bad quality.

Top wristband idea!! think that will be better at this moment in time, then we can actually design some polo shirts which people can get.
The wristbands will help us stop sweating, especially in tough situations like chess or house speaking. See Caspar Hughes for not sweating in chess games as his games normally finish with him losing after a minute!!!!!

i think head bands for the house teams because they quite cheap n noticable and we could put the badge on them
Wristbands sound good for now , we can wear them at the hockey and basketball events and reading lol
i think sweatbands is a good idea and we should have our initials on it aswell as ottery. But maybe we should have a house competion to design a new badge for the other side instead of JUST the name ottery whoever wins the competion wins a prize,say maybe an easter egg. The jugdes could be form tutors but mr furness has to pick his best 5 and let the form tuors decide which one they think is the best, that way everybody gets the chance to get involved….!

Thanks for all the chat guys, some interesting things coming up here. So we want polo shirts it seems. I can’t buy many polo shirts with £140 obviously, and I have to spend the money by next week. So, in the next few weeks I will get some quotes for polos shirts with names on etc, and let you know how much they will cost you each, and i will spend next terms budget on them too so they will be a bit cheaper. For now, I can buy enough sweatbands so that everyone who represents the house in any way can have one completely free. How does that sound?

We should buy a trophey and give it to the ‘MAN OF THE HOUSE’ at the end of every term. The person who takes part in a lot of house sports and activities, but also who gets the most merits, and achieves good acedemic grades.

Sweatbands is a good idea. The guys from Ford were really in your face about doing something no one else did so it would be good to get something no one else has. House magic’s a good idea though.
